About Our Domain Registration & Management Services

India's Most Reliable Domain Registration & Management Services Provider for Indian & Global Businesses

At Maddog Global, our Domain Registration & Management Services in India are built around a reality that most businesses discover only when it is already a crisis: your domain name is the single most critical piece of digital infrastructure your business owns. It is your website address, your email address, your brand's digital identity, and your online credibility — and it can disappear in a moment if a renewal is missed, a DNS record is misconfigured, or a bad actor registers a variation of your name that you haven't protected.

We manage 1000+ domains across India and 9 international markets for businesses ranging from single-domain startups to enterprises with portfolios of 100+ domains across multiple TLDs and markets. Every domain we manage is monitored for renewal dates, DNS health, security status, and WHOIS accuracy — proactively, automatically, and with human review — so you never experience an accidental domain expiry, an email delivery outage, or a brand protection gap that costs more to fix than it would have cost to prevent.

💡 The domain management reality: Over 15% of small businesses have experienced accidental domain expiry at least once — causing website downtime, email outages, and in some cases permanent loss of the domain to a third party. Domain cybersquatting costs global businesses over $1 billion annually in recovery and legal fees. And a single DNS misconfiguration can take a business's email down for 24–72 hours. Professional domain management is the least expensive insurance policy your digital business can buy.

The Domain Management Framework

Professional Domain Management Operates
Across Four Critical Dimensions.

A domain portfolio that is unmanaged across any one of these dimensions is a business risk accumulating silently. Our Domain Registration & Management Services address all four simultaneously — proactively, systematically, and without requiring you to think about it.

🔄

Renewal Security

The most common and most avoidable domain management failure — a missed renewal that takes a website offline, kills email delivery, and in the worst case allows the domain to be registered by a competitor or cybersquatter. Systematic renewal management with multiple advance notifications, auto-renewal as default, and human review of every expiring domain before it lapses.

⚙️

DNS Accuracy

DNS records are the traffic management system of your domain — routing visitors to your website, emails to your mail server, and subdomains to the right destinations. A single incorrect DNS record can take your email down for 24–72 hours. Expert DNS configuration and monitoring ensures every record is correct, propagated globally, and continuously monitored for drift or misconfiguration.

🛡️

Brand Protection

Your brand name registered on your primary domain does not protect it on every other TLD — a competitor or bad actor can register yourbrand.net, yourbrand.co, or yourbrand.in and use it to divert traffic, damage your reputation, or extort you for the domain at inflated prices. Strategic brand protection registrations across key TLDs close these vulnerabilities permanently.

🔐

Domain Security

Domain hijacking — the unauthorised transfer of your domain to another registrar — is a real and growing threat. Registrar lock (preventing unauthorised transfers), WHOIS privacy protection (preventing personal data exposure and social engineering attacks), two-factor authentication on registrar accounts, and regular security audits protect your domain assets from theft and misuse.

What We Manage

Every Domain Service Your
Business Needs — Managed
Proactively, Not Reactively.

From registering a single new domain for a product launch to managing an enterprise portfolio of 200+ domains across 15 TLDs and 8 markets — our Domain Registration & Management Services in India cover every domain need your business has, all managed proactively so you never encounter a domain problem you didn't know was coming.

🌐

New Domain Registration

Domain name research and registration across all TLD categories — generic TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz), new generic TLDs (.io, .app, .tech, .store, .online, .digital, .agency, .design, .media, .studio, .co, and hundreds more), Indian ccTLDs (.in, .co.in, .net.in, .org.in), and international ccTLDs for every market (.uk, .co.uk, .au, .com.au, .ca, .ae, .sg, .nz, .ie, .de, .fr, and more). Domain availability checking, alternative suggestions when preferred domain is taken, purchase at competitive rates, and immediate confirmation of successful registration with ownership documentation.

📦

Bulk Domain Registration & Portfolio Strategy

Strategic bulk domain acquisition for businesses that need to secure their brand across multiple TLDs, typo variants, or product names simultaneously — ensuring competitors and cybersquatters cannot register commercially meaningful variations of your domain. Portfolio strategy consultation identifying which TLDs are commercially important for your markets and business model, which typo variants represent genuine traffic diversion risk, and which product or campaign names should be pre-registered before public announcement. All bulk registrations managed from a unified account with consolidated renewal calendar and single-dashboard visibility.

🔄

Domain Renewal Management

Systematic domain renewal management that eliminates accidental expiry permanently — auto-renewal activation on all managed domains, advance renewal notifications at 90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days before expiry, human review of all upcoming renewals to catch payment method failures before they cause lapses, renewal confirmation documentation for every domain renewed, and immediate escalation protocol if any renewal fails so recovery action begins before the domain enters the deletion cycle. We have managed 1000+ domains without a single accidental expiry — because renewal management is treated as a business-critical operational process, not an administrative afterthought.

⚙️

DNS Configuration & Management

Expert DNS configuration and ongoing management — A records (pointing your domain to your web server IP), CNAME records (for subdomains, CDN configuration, and third-party service verification), MX records (routing email to your mail server — critical for email delivery), TXT records (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for email authentication and anti-spoofing, plus domain ownership verification for Google Search Console, Microsoft 365, and other services), NS records (nameserver configuration), and any other DNS record type your hosting environment, email platform, or third-party integrations require. DNS health monitoring to detect propagation failures, TTL management for performance optimisation, and rapid DNS update response for hosting migrations and service changes.

Explore →
🔁

Domain Transfer Services

Seamless domain transfer assistance when moving domains between registrars — initiating the transfer process, managing the authorisation code (EPP/auth code) request, monitoring the transfer status across the ICANN-mandated transfer period, ensuring DNS records are replicated correctly at the new registrar before the transfer completes, and confirming successful completion with full ownership documentation at the new registrar. Domain transfers can fail silently if the process is not monitored correctly, leaving a domain in a state of uncertainty during the transfer window. Our transfer management process eliminates this risk with active monitoring at every stage.

🕵️

WHOIS Privacy & Domain Security

Comprehensive domain security management — WHOIS privacy protection to mask registrant contact details from public lookup (preventing spam, social engineering attacks, and personal data exposure for individual business owners), registrar lock activation on all domains to prevent unauthorised transfers, two-factor authentication enforcement on all registrar accounts under management, regular security audit of domain ownership records (ensuring WHOIS contact information is accurate and up to date — outdated contact details are a frequent cause of renewal notification failure), and domain hijacking incident response if a domain security event occurs.

🏷️

Brand Protection Domain Registrations

Strategic defensive domain registrations to protect your brand from cybersquatting, typosquatting, and competitive domain acquisition — including registrations across key TLD categories for your brand name (securing .com, .net, .org, .in, .co, and market-specific ccTLDs simultaneously), common typo variant registrations (transposition errors, missing letters, common misspellings), sound-alike domain variants, hyphenated variants, and keyword-plus-brand combinations that competitors or affiliates might use to divert traffic or damage brand perception. All defensive registrations pointed to your primary domain with 301 redirects to capture any traffic they receive while adding no maintenance overhead.

📊

Domain Portfolio Audit & Rationalisation

Comprehensive audit of your existing domain portfolio — identifying all domains currently registered (including those that may have been forgotten or registered by former employees), consolidating domains scattered across multiple registrars into a unified managed account, identifying domains that are no longer commercially necessary and can be allowed to lapse (reducing unnecessary renewal costs), identifying gaps in brand protection coverage that should be closed, mapping DNS configurations for accuracy and security, and producing a consolidated domain portfolio register with registrar, expiry date, DNS configuration, current use, and renewal priority documented for every domain in the portfolio.

🌏

International Domain Strategy & Registration

Domain strategy for businesses expanding into international markets — identifying the right domain approach for each new market (using a country-code TLD for local search credibility versus a subdomain or subdirectory of the primary .com), registering market-specific ccTLDs across all target territories, managing the distinct registration requirements of each country's domain authority (some ccTLDs require local entity registration or address verification), and developing a unified international domain architecture that supports both global brand consistency and local market presence. Particularly relevant for Indian businesses expanding globally and international businesses entering the Indian market.

Zero Accidental Expiries — Our Unbroken Record

In the entire history of our domain management service, not a single domain under our active management has lapsed accidentally. This is not a boast — it is a reflection of the systematic renewal management process we operate. Auto-renewal on all managed domains, advance notifications at multiple intervals, payment method health checks before renewal dates, human review of every upcoming renewal, and immediate escalation if any renewal flag is raised. The cost of an accidentally expired domain — website downtime, email outage, potential loss to a third-party registrant — is always higher than a year of professional domain management. We make sure you never find out how much higher.

02

Expert DNS Management — No Email Outages, No Website Downtime

DNS is the invisible infrastructure that makes your website and email work — and when it's wrong, everything stops. Most businesses only discover DNS issues after their email has been down for hours, their website has been unreachable for half a day, or their marketing team reports that Google isn't indexing their new pages. Our DNS management process — correct record configuration, propagation verification, continuous health monitoring, and rapid update response — ensures DNS problems are identified and corrected before they become business-disrupting incidents rather than after your customers start noticing.

03

Proactive Brand Protection — Not Reactive Recovery

Recovering a cybersquatted domain through UDRP arbitration or legal action typically costs between $2,000 and $50,000 and takes 6–18 months — assuming recovery is possible at all. Strategic brand protection registrations covering the key TLDs and typo variants of your brand name cost a fraction of this, registered proactively, and permanently close the vulnerabilities that cybersquatters target. Our brand protection consultation identifies every commercially significant domain variant for your brand and markets, and registers them systematically before they become a problem. Prevention is always cheaper than recovery.

04

Single Dashboard, All Domains — Complete Portfolio Visibility

Most businesses that have been operating for several years have domains scattered across multiple registrars — registered by different people, at different times, for different purposes — with no single view of what they own, when it expires, or whether it's configured correctly. Our domain consolidation and management service brings your entire domain portfolio under unified management with a single dashboard showing every domain, its registrar, its expiry date, its DNS configuration status, its security settings, and its renewal priority. For the first time, you have complete visibility and control over one of your most critical digital assets.

Why Maddog Global

We Don't Just Register Domains.
We Protect Your Digital
Address for Life.

Most domain registrars treat domain management as a transactional service — register, bill annually, send a reminder email before expiry, move on. We treat domain management as a critical infrastructure service — proactively monitored, expertly configured, systematically protected, and never allowed to fail because our clients' businesses depend on it not failing.

Our Domain Management Process

From Domain Audit to Fully Protected Portfolio —
Our Exact 5-Stage Domain Management Onboarding

A structured onboarding process that gets your entire domain portfolio audited, consolidated, secured, and systematically managed within days — and keeps it that way indefinitely.

01

Portfolio Audit

Complete inventory of your existing domain portfolio — identifying all registered domains (including forgotten registrations and domains held by former employees), their current registrars, expiry dates, DNS configurations, WHOIS contact accuracy, security settings (registrar lock status, privacy protection), and current commercial use. Audit report delivered within 48 hours identifying every risk, every gap, and every consolidation or rationalisation opportunity in the existing portfolio.

02

Consolidation & Transfer

Migration of all managed domains to a unified registrar account under our management — transferring domains from multiple scattered registrars (where consolidation is commercially appropriate), ensuring DNS records are correctly replicated before any transfer completes, activating registrar lock and WHOIS privacy on all domains, updating contact information to ensure renewal notifications reach the right people, and establishing a consolidated renewal calendar with all expiry dates, auto-renewal status, and renewal budget requirements documented.

03

DNS Audit & Configuration

Complete DNS audit of every managed domain — verifying A, CNAME, MX, TXT, and NS records against the correct configuration for each domain's intended use (website, email, parked, redirected), identifying any misconfigured or outdated records, implementing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for all active email domains (critical for deliverability and anti-spoofing), and establishing DNS monitoring to detect future configuration drift. All DNS changes implemented with TTL management to minimise propagation risk during transitions.

04

Brand Protection Strategy

Systematic brand protection analysis — identifying your brand's key domain variants across TLDs (which are registered, which are unregistered and at risk, which are registered by third parties and may require monitoring or recovery), typo variant risk assessment (which misspellings generate meaningful traffic risk), and international brand protection requirements for each target market. Implementation of recommended defensive registrations and a monitoring programme for unregistered high-risk variants with alert notifications if they are registered by a third party.

05

Ongoing Management

Continuous proactive domain portfolio management — auto-renewal monitoring and confirmation, advance expiry alerts at multiple intervals, DNS health monitoring with incident alerts, security audit at 6-month intervals, new domain registration on request (typically within 2 hours of brief), brand monitoring alerts for new registrations of your brand name variants, quarterly portfolio review reporting covering all renewals, new registrations, DNS changes, and security status across the entire managed portfolio.

What You Get

Why Indian & Global Businesses Choose Our
Domain Registration & Management Services

When you choose Maddog Global as your Domain Registration & Management Services partner in India, you get a team that treats your domain portfolio as the critical digital infrastructure it is — managing it proactively, protecting it systematically, and ensuring it never becomes a business problem.

01

Your Website and Email Never Go Down from a Domain Issue

An expired domain takes your website offline and kills your email — immediately, completely, and with no advance warning to your customers. An misconfigured DNS MX record does the same thing to your email while your website remains up, creating the particularly damaging scenario where you are unreachable but don't know it. Professional domain management eliminates both risks: renewal management prevents expiry, DNS monitoring catches misconfiguration before customers experience it, and security management prevents hijacking. The cost of one day of website downtime or one day of email outage to your business is almost certainly higher than a year of domain management fees.

02

Your Brand Name Stays Yours — Across Every TLD That Matters

A business that owns its primary .com but not its .net, .co, .in, or market-specific ccTLDs has left its brand name available to anyone who wants to register it. Competitors register similar domains to divert your direct traffic. Cybersquatters register them to extort ransom payments. Phishers register them to impersonate your brand in emails. Each of these scenarios is expensive and damaging to recover from — and trivially preventable with a systematic brand protection registration programme that costs a fraction of what recovery typically costs. Our brand protection service identifies every commercially meaningful variant of your domain and secures it proactively.

03

Email Deliverability Protected Through Correct DNS Configuration

More than 85% of email is spam. Email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) use SPF, DKIM, and DMARC DNS records to determine whether your outgoing email should be delivered to inboxes or spam folders. Businesses without correctly configured email authentication records consistently experience higher spam folder delivery rates, reduced email open rates, and in some cases complete email blocking. Correct SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration — maintained as part of ongoing DNS management — is one of the most directly commercial domain management activities, with measurable impact on marketing email performance and sales email deliverability.

04

One Clear View of Everything You Own and When It Expires

Most businesses with more than 5 domains have no clear picture of what they own, where it is registered, when it expires, and who is responsible for renewing it. This portfolio opacity is the direct cause of most accidental domain expiries — the domain that "someone else was supposed to renew," the domain registered by the previous IT person that no one else knew about, the domain attached to the payment method that expired last month. Our domain consolidation and management service eliminates portfolio opacity permanently, giving you a single documented view of every domain asset your business owns and a systematic process ensuring nothing ever lapses.

05

Fast, Expert DNS Changes When You Need Them

Website migrations, email platform changes, new subdomain launches, CDN configuration, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 setup, third-party service verifications — all of these require DNS changes, and DNS changes made incorrectly can cause outages that take days to diagnose and reverse. Our DNS management service handles all DNS updates with correct record configuration, appropriate TTL settings, propagation monitoring, and rollback capability if any change produces unexpected behaviour. Standard DNS updates are typically completed within 2 hours of request. Emergency DNS changes (for active outage situations) are escalated for immediate response at any hour.

06

The Right Domain Strategy for Every New Market You Enter

When a business enters a new market, the domain question has both a technical and a commercial dimension: should the new market be served from a country-code TLD (better for local search rankings and local credibility), a subdomain of the primary domain (preserves domain authority and simplifies management), or a subdirectory? The answer depends on the market, the competition, the content volume planned, and the local search strategy. Our international domain strategy service provides the right answer for each market entry — then handles the registration, DNS configuration, and ongoing management of whatever domain structure is recommended, across every market simultaneously.

Genuine results from Indian and global businesses that chose Maddog Global as their Domain Registration & Management Services partner — and now have domain portfolios that are secure, correctly configured, and protected without requiring their attention.

★★★★★

"Before we moved to Maddog Global, we had our domains spread across three different registrars, two of which we'd forgotten we were even using. Then our primary domain expired on a Saturday morning because the payment card on the account had expired two months earlier and nobody noticed the renewal emails. Our website was down for 14 hours and we lost an estimated ₹6 lakh in e-commerce revenue on what was our second-highest-traffic day of the month. Maddog Global consolidated everything, set up proper renewal management, and configured WHOIS privacy and registrar lock across the entire portfolio. In two years since then, not a single domain issue. I don't even think about domain management anymore — which is exactly what I want."

"We're a software consultancy in Dublin and discovered someone had registered our company name on a .co and a .net domain and was using them to redirect to a competitor's website. It had been going on for almost a year before we found out — through a client who said they'd accidentally visited the wrong site. Maddog Global did a complete brand protection audit, registered all the key TLD variations we'd missed, helped us file a UDRP complaint for the domains being misused, and set up monitoring for any future registrations of our brand name variants. The UDRP recovered both domains within 60 days. We've had zero brand protection incidents since, and now we know before any bad actor can act because we get alerted the moment any variant of our name is registered."

"We were expanding our D2C brand from India into the UAE, UK, and Australia and needed to register country-code domains in all three markets plus manage the DNS across our existing .com and .in domains simultaneously. Maddog Global handled all the ccTLD registrations — including the UAE .ae which had specific entity verification requirements we didn't know about — configured the DNS correctly across all five domains, set up SPF and DKIM for our email so our marketing emails stopped going to spam in UK inboxes, and consolidated everything into a single managed portfolio. The email deliverability improvement alone justified the cost — our UK email open rates improved significantly within 30 days of the DNS authentication update."

What is DNS and why does it matter for my business?

+

DNS (Domain Name System) is the internet's address book — it translates your domain name (yourbusiness.com) into the IP addresses that computers use to find your website server, your email server, and any other services connected to your domain. Different types of DNS records serve different purposes: A records point your domain to your website's IP address; MX records tell the internet where to deliver emails sent to your domain; CNAME records create subdomains and connect third-party services; TXT records store verification codes and email authentication settings (SPF, DKIM, DMARC); and NS records specify which nameservers are authoritative for your domain. When DNS records are correct, everything works seamlessly and invisibly. When any record is wrong — even a single misconfigured MX record — your email can stop working entirely, or your website can become unreachable. DNS management is the invisible infrastructure that keeps your digital business operational every day.

What is domain cybersquatting and how does it threaten my business?

+

Domain cybersquatting occurs when a third party registers a domain containing your brand name, trademark, or a close variation of it — typically with one of three commercial intentions: resale (demanding a ransom payment to transfer the domain to you, often at prices 100–1000× the registration cost); traffic diversion (pointing the domain to a competitor's website or a monetised parking page that earns revenue from traffic intended for your business); or brand impersonation (using the domain to send phishing emails that appear to come from your company, or to create a fake website that deceives your customers). Typosquatting is a specific variant where slight misspellings of your domain are registered (yourbusines.com, yourbusiness.net) to catch traffic from users who mistype your address. The UDRP (Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy) provides a mechanism to recover cybersquatted domains, but the process typically costs $2,000–$10,000 and takes 60–90 days. Proactive brand protection registrations across key TLD variants cost a fraction of this and prevent the problem permanently.

What are SPF, DKIM, and DMARC and why do I need them?

+

SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) are three DNS-based email authentication standards that email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and others) use to determine whether an email sent from your domain should be delivered to inboxes or spam folders. SPF specifies which mail servers are authorised to send email on behalf of your domain. DKIM adds a cryptographic signature to outgoing email that receiving servers can verify. DMARC tells receiving servers what to do when SPF or DKIM checks fail (deliver, quarantine, or reject). All three work together: a domain with all three correctly configured tells receiving email servers "this email is legitimately from who it claims to be" — improving inbox delivery rates significantly. A domain without them is treated as suspicious by modern email providers, resulting in marketing emails landing in spam and sales emails being filtered. Since February 2024, Google and Yahoo require proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration for bulk email senders. Correct configuration of all three is a standard part of our DNS management service.

What happens if my domain expires accidentally?

+

When a domain expires, a sequence of increasingly severe events unfolds. On the expiry date, the domain typically enters a "grace period" (usually 0–45 days depending on the TLD) during which it can be renewed at normal cost but may already be showing as expired to DNS resolvers, causing website and email outages. After the grace period, the domain enters a "redemption period" (typically 30 days) during which renewal is possible but at a significantly higher redemption fee (often $100–$200 for .com domains). After the redemption period, the domain is deleted and becomes available for anyone to register — at which point recovery requires either negotiation with the new registrant, a UDRP dispute (if your brand has trademark protection), or a legal action. The total cost of recovering a cybersquatted domain after accidental expiry — including legal fees, UDRP costs, and negotiated purchase price — typically runs from $5,000 to $50,000. Our renewal management process makes this scenario impossible for every domain under our management.

I have domains scattered across multiple registrars. Can you consolidate them?

+

Yes — domain portfolio consolidation is one of our most common engagement starting points. Most businesses that have operated for several years have domains registered across multiple registrars — some purchased at launch, some added later, some registered by former employees, some registered by agencies on the business's behalf. We begin with a complete domain discovery audit (identifying every domain the business owns across all registrars), then develop a consolidation plan (typically migrating all domains to a single managed registrar account). Domain transfers are managed with full DNS record replication before transfer completes, ensuring no website or email downtime during the migration. WHOIS privacy and registrar lock are activated across all consolidated domains as part of the onboarding process. The entire consolidation process typically takes 2–3 weeks from audit to completion, and at the end you have a single view of your entire domain portfolio with unified renewal management and consistent security settings.

Which TLDs should my business register and why?

+

The right TLD strategy depends on your business model, markets, audience, and brand protection priorities. For most Indian businesses, the minimum recommended registrations are: .com (global credibility and the most trusted TLD for commercial websites worldwide), .in or .co.in (Indian ccTLD for local SEO advantages and Indian market credibility), and .net (the most commonly cybersquatted TLD for .com businesses). For businesses with a tech or startup positioning, .io is increasingly relevant and should be secured. For businesses entering specific international markets, the relevant ccTLD (.co.uk for UK, .com.au for Australia, .ca for Canada, etc.) should be registered either for an active market presence or defensively to prevent brand impersonation. For businesses with strong brand names, common typo variants are worth registering defensively. Our brand protection consultation analyses your specific situation and recommends the precise set of registrations that close your material vulnerabilities without unnecessary spend on TLDs that don't serve your business commercially.

Do you manage domains for businesses operating across global markets?

+

Yes — international domain portfolio management is a substantial part of our work. We register and manage domains across all major TLDs and ccTLDs in the markets our clients operate in, including India (.in, .co.in), UK (.co.uk, .uk), USA (.com, .us), Australia (.com.au, .au), Canada (.ca), UAE (.ae), Ireland (.ie), Singapore (.sg), New Zealand (.co.nz, .nz), and across Europe (.eu, .de, .fr, .es, and others). For each ccTLD, we are familiar with the specific eligibility requirements (some ccTLDs require local entity registration or address documentation), the relevant registry policies, the WHOIS privacy rules applicable under local data protection law, and the brand protection landscape. For businesses expanding into new markets, we provide domain strategy advice on whether to use a ccTLD, subdomain, or subdirectory for each new market — then handle all registrations, DNS configuration, and ongoing management across the full international portfolio.
